HISTORY
SketchUp was grown by startup association @Last Software, Boulder, Colorado which was shaped in 1999. SketchUp was initial expelled in Aug 2000 as the ubiquitous role 3D calm origination tool. It won the Community Choice Award during the initial tradeshow in 2000. Key to the early success was the shorter guidance duration than alternative 3D tools.
As of SketchUp 6, facilities were combined to concede the user to force out as good as dilate as good as the capability for the face to “follow” the cursor around an object.
On March 14, 2006, Google acquired @Last Software, captivated by their plugin for Google Earth.
On January 9, 2007, SketchUp 6 was released, featuring brand brand new collection as good as the beta chronicle of Google SketchUp LayOut.
